Missionary Portraits at the Denver LDS Temple | Hyrum & Kolten
There are few milestones as meaningful as preparing to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I had the privilege of photographing Hyrum and Kolten at the beautiful Denver Colorado Temple as they celebrated this exciting new chapter in their lives before departing for their missions. Fresh off their graduation from Highland High School, these lifelong friends are each beginning incredible journeys of faith and service. Hyrum has been called to serve in the Ghana Accra Mission, while Kolten will be serving in the Hermosillo Mexico Mission. Although they’ll be thousands of miles apart, both are stepping into this next season with excitement, courage, and a desire to serve others.
The grounds of the Denver Colorado Temple provided the perfect backdrop for these missionary portraits. From the peaceful gardens to the iconic white temple, every location reflected the hope, faith, and anticipation surrounding this special moment. These photos not only celebrate where Hyrum and Kolten are today, but they’ll also become lasting reminders of where their journeys began.
