The Complete Client Welcome Guide | What to Expect After Your Gladu Photography Session
Looking for help downloading your gallery, printing your photos, understanding image usage rights, or preserving your memories? This complete client welcome guide from Gladu Photography walks you through everything you need to know after your session. Whether you booked a couples session, engagement, family session, senior portraits, maternity, newborn, branding, or elopement with Gladu Photography, your experience doesn’t end once your gallery is delivered. My goal is to make sure your images are easy to access, beautifully displayed, and safely preserved for years to come.
This guide answers the most common questions my clients have after receiving their gallery.
Welcome to the Gladu Photography Family
First of all—thank you. There are countless photographers you could have chosen, and I’m incredibly grateful you trusted me to capture such an important season of your life. Photography is about so much more than beautiful images. It’s about preserving the moments you’ll want to relive years from now—the laughter, the excitement, the milestones, and the people you love most. I hope every image brings you right back to that moment.
How to Download Your Online Gallery
When your gallery is ready, you’ll receive an email with a private gallery link. Downloading your photos is simple.
On a Computer:
- Open your gallery.
- Select the download option.
- Choose High Resolution when available.
- Save the images to your computer.
- Create a backup immediately.
On Your Phone:
You can also download images directly to your mobile device, but I highly recommend downloading the full gallery to a computer first for easier organization and long-term storage.
Don’t Forget to Back Up Your Photos
Digital files are incredibly valuable.
Computers fail.
Phones break.
Hard drives stop working.
I always recommend saving your gallery in at least three places: Your computer, Cloud storage (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, etc.), An external hard drive or SSD. Having multiple backups ensures your memories stay safe for years to come.
Why You Should Print Your Photos
One of the biggest mistakes people make is leaving their photos on their phones forever. Professional photographs deserve to be seen. Imagine walking through your home and seeing your engagement photos on the wall, your newborn portraits in an heirloom album, or your family session displayed in your living room. Printed photographs become family heirlooms. Technology changes constantly, but beautiful prints last for generations.
I highly recommend ordering professional-quality prints directly through your online gallery whenever possible. Professional labs produce more accurate colors, sharper detail, and archival-quality materials that will stand the test of time.
Understanding Your Image Usage Rights
Every Gladu Photography client receives a personal print release with their gallery.
This means you are welcome to:
- Print your photographs for personal use
- Share your images with friends and family
- Post your photos on social media
- Create albums, canvases, holiday cards, announcements, and gifts
To protect the quality of your images, I kindly ask that you do not:
- Apply filters or heavy edits
- Change the colors
- Remove watermarks from preview images
- Use photographs for commercial advertising without written permission
Each image has been professionally edited to reflect the style and quality of the Gladu Photography brand.
How to Care for Your Digital Images
Professional photography is an investment, and your images deserve to be protected.
Here are my best tips for keeping your gallery safe:

- Keep copies in secure cloud storage.
These small steps can protect your memories for decades.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will my gallery stay online?
While galleries remain available for a generous amount of time, I always recommend downloading your images immediately after delivery. Long-term storage is the client’s responsibility.
Can I order prints later?
Yes! You can order professional prints directly from your gallery whenever it’s available.
Can I share my gallery with family?
Absolutely. Your gallery link can easily be shared with friends and family so they can download or purchase prints.
What if I lose my photos?
If your gallery has already expired and I no longer have your files archived, I may not be able to recover them. This is why downloading and backing up your gallery right away is so important.
Leaving a Review Means the World
If you enjoyed your experience with Gladu Photography, I would be incredibly grateful if you left a review.
